Dasal Industries :: Architectural lighting catalog

Dasal needed a catalog that would appeal to an architect's love of space and colour yet contain the engineering information required to spec in light fixtures. These two personalities are reflected in two distinct sections of the catalog, with a slight grey tone on all pages pertaining to the engineer.

Katanna :: Print design

Katanna needed an aesthetic balanced between the familiar high-end spa look combined with a pharmaceutical presentation to reinforce their medical background. The resulting ads play with the concept of frosted glass to create a sense of discreteness.

Clean and consistent are qualities that MG Chemicals asked for when offbeat was assigned to freshen their brand. The challenge was in differentiating several different products which are, on the most part, clear liquids. Colour coding helps distringuish between product categories and individual products.

Emily Carr Institute :: film festival branding

The Resolutions Film Festival was the 2002 grad year show for the media, film and animation students of Emily Carr. A collaboration with an animation student produced the hybrid image that is used as the face of the brand. The tickets were colour coded to indicate the four different nights of showing.
